Cheap canoe on the rogue river

I am back from a whirlwind trip to Oregon. Got to hang out on the south coast of Oregon which is some of my favorite coastline.  Had the "Cheap Canoe"  out on the lower Rogue river just to paddle around.  I would never use this in rough water, took it into some areas where the current was causing ripples etc.  and thought it might not be ideal…

Still, I ended up with a rather fetching image of my luann canoe.  I am glad the paint didn't workout and I left it plain wood, sealed with epoxy.
