Coastal Oak, wood turned sphere

 Just another sphere.  I do these as a kind of meditation, when I don't have the properly seasoned wood for something more complicated.  I love the feel and the smell, the grain and physicality of them.  I had this one at work and it caught the eye of one of my favorite grad students.  The idea of him having it made me happy, so now it is his.
