Black Acacia and Mold

The vessel in question

I unpacked the Acacia vessel the other day from its brown paper bag and wood chips to find a fine layer of white furry mold growing on it.  It was molding where the exterior contacted the the wood chips.  It appears there was just too much moisture in there and not enough air flow.  I have extracted all the wood chips and have just opted for the paper bag.  Will post the results when known.
