Turning a camphor wood bowl form

Got to spend some time with the camphor on the lathe yesterday.  Amazing wood, I used a piece I didn't have high hopes for and now I am invested.  Really hope it survives dry down even with the bit of pith near the lip.  Wood was wet wet wet.  After the walls got thinner the piece began to weep moisture.  I also noticed that where the edge of the tool was cutting, a small plume of mist would come up.

The wood is beautiful to work and look at.
